Destiny 1 players paid for their game and deserve continued access. We ask Bungie to either release an official D1 Classic (with PC support) or allow community preservation projects (i.e. V4nguard) to continue without legal interference. Recent account deletions during maintenance show why this matters. Sunsetting paid games should not be normalized. Support game preservation. This in essence aligns with the core values that stopkillinggames represents. In short, we want Destiny 1 to be safely preserved whether It's through the community and/or Bungie's actions What matters most is having concrete guarantees that the game we have paid for will not be shut down nor hindered in any way. This includes either:
- A formal agreement involving V4nguard and/or stopkillinggames that ensures no legal interference or obstruction regarding continued access to the game, including the player's right to play it in any manner they choose;

and/or

- An officially archived, authentic, and preserved classic or remastered version of the game, ensuring its long-term availability and integrity.
