To the Developers and Representatives of Epic Games,
I write this on behalf of the global Unreal Tournament (UT) community. It aims to express the community’s enduring admiration for the franchise and respectfully request its revival.
Unreal Tournament played a defining role in the lives of many players worldwide. Its fast-paced gameplay, strategy, and community-driven culture made it a landmark in the FPS arena genre. Though Epic Games has since focused on other successful titles, such as Fortnite, the UT community remains active—albeit limited to unofficial servers and grassroots efforts.
There was significant anticipation for Unreal Tournament 3X, but its sudden disappearance and lack of communication left fans disappointed. Today, without official support, the community struggles to sustain itself, and the series remains inaccessible to new audiences.
This petition urges Epic Games to consider relaunching or supporting the Unreal Tournament franchise—whether through updated releases, restored online services, or even a new title using Unreal Engine 5.5. The global community stands ready to support such a revival and believes UT still has a vital place in today’s gaming landscape.

UT is one of the greatest FPS of all time and needs to be either rebooted or remastered. Epic needs to respect their legacy and follow the steps of giants such as Valve and Bethesda which respectfully did so their old titles.

I started with the 98 gold edition of unreal tournament after watching my dad play. As I grew up and new games came out, my dad got them for me. They were a way for me and my little sister to bond, and something fun to do when I was bored or needed a distraction from life. Unreal was one of the first video games I ever played and the first ever FPS I played. It needs brought back

After playing Unreal Tournament 99 for the first time back in 2024, it reminded me of what we lost in multiplayer gaming that not even Fortnite could compare. Having UT back with official master servers online will be a dream come true.

My father was a huge fan of Unreal Tournament and It was the first game he ever floated online and it changed his life forever. Sadly my father passed recently and died still waiting for Unreal Tournament 4 and the continuation of UT3 and the greatest Cliffhanger ever.
