I have been reading through the deeply personal stories many of you shared about why this restriction on our chaplains feels so wrong. My faith is the foundation of my life and watching this silencing of prayer is something I simply cannot accept. I am currently preparing to present our collected concerns directly to the department to ensure they understand that our history of liberty is not up for debate.

The momentum behind this plea proves that many of you refuse to see our traditions silenced. Feeling this level of support for my faith is moving and it confirms that we are fighting for something vital.

Ridiculous to tell a man of god he cant pray in the name of the lord. PC culture has gone way too far this time.
Amen! Praying for our leaders to wake up and stop bowing down to these silly rules.
This is a christian nation and we shouldnt be ashamed to say His name. Keep prayer how it has always been!
TRULY DISGUSTING. We need god back in this country more than ever.
So tired of people being so offended by everything. If you dont like the prayer then just close your ears. leave them alone.

Freedom of speech includes prayer. Let them do their jobs.
