It would be fantastic for the kids to have something thats fun to do instead of causing trouble and hanging around the streets and turning the site into a skate park will benefit everyone in the community.

Both Bristo Square and The Space have now gone and e are running out of places to go, really need a plaza style skatepark or for the skate stoppers to be taken off around Edinburgh.

This would be great for the area, so many local kids skate and scooter it's good to give them somewhere to call their own.

Give the kids something to do in a safe environment. A great idea.

This would be fantastic asset to Portobello. It would allow kids to skate in a dedicated area without any cauae for complaints from prom and park users.

My wife did some research a few years ago into what people want in porty and a skatepark was one of the top things. I know my kids would use it.

This would be a great asset to portobello, skateboarding and scootering are fun activities which should be encouraged as they are healthy and kids learn some really great skills. with two kids who love skating and scooting I think portobello really needs a skate park!
