This would be greatly appreciated by the youth in Portobello as there is already a large skating community which would utilize this area greatly

I don't know where this is,but I'm all for skate parks. My son is 26 and is skateboard mad still and his mates are! There's a skate park near us but when it's wet they can't go on it.Sometimes they'll go to an under ground car park when the shops are shut to skate but the police come and kick them off it!They're not doing any harm at all unlike others that are causing trouble everywhere!!So get it going for the kids and the adults I say!!! :)

A skate park at the heart of this community would be a great asset.

Soughton skatepark is always busy! Would be good to have a park like that in portobello as the kids there have nowhere to go!

It would be fantastic for the kids to have something thats fun to do instead of causing trouble and hanging around the streets and turning the site into a skate park will benefit everyone in the community.
