The feedback from local stakeholders has revealed how deeply our community value the health of our harbor. I am currently organizing the various concerns shared here into a formal report to present to the port authority board.

The level of activity surrounding this cause indicates that our community recognizes the gravity of the potential environmental impacts. Crossing this threshold confirms that the desire to protect our local waters is widespread and deeply felt.

Keep our inlet clean! We moved here for the fresh air and nature not to live next to a giant coal pile.

My kids play down by the water. I do not want them breathing in coal dust. please listen to the locals.

Not in our backyard. The pollution risks are way too high for such a beautiful spot.

Port alberni has enough problems as it is. we dont need coal dust covering everything and ruining the water quality. stop this project now.
