The sheer number of people checking in to ask about my situation shows how much this community values fairness. Behind the scenes my legal team is still pushing for an answer from the administration while I wait for a chance to go to prom like everyone else.

Seeing this kind of backing for Sarah makes me feel like the administration cannot just look the other way anymore. This momentum gives me hope that she will finally get to experience the prom night she deserves.

Unbelievable. This school administration is obsessed with control. Let the girl have her night.
Seriously? Over some ponies? Just let her walk in the door it isn't hurting anyone.
Total power trip from the principal. Everyone remembers their senior prom and she deserves to be there with her friends.
Fix this now. Kids make mistakes but this punishment is way over the line.
RIDICULOUS. she shouldn't have to deal with this drama right before graduation.
