We the undersigned are appealing to the Warwick School District, Board of Education and the Office of Dr. Greenhall to allow both Billy Rossiter and Matthew Culkin to attend their Graduation Ceremonies for the Class of 20008. We feel that the punishment should not include this as they have contributed emotionally, academically and with full support the School system for the past 12 years they have attended and should have the chance to exercise their rights to walk with their peers.

Updates

The feedback from our community confirms that many residents believe these students deserve to participate in their graduation ceremony. I am currently reaching out to the school board members to discuss why this specific punishment is disproportionate to the situation. We remain committed to ensuring that these students can join their peers on this final milestone.

The response to this appeal shows that many people agree these students deserve a place at their ceremony. This momentum confirms that our position resonates with the community at large.

This is just wrong. 12 years of hard work and they cant walk? Let them walk. It is a one time event.

Ridiculous. Everyone deserves to walk at grad. Stop being so petty.

I hope they get to walk. Seniors work way too hard for this to happen to them right at the end.

LET THEM WALK. Punishment is one thing but taking this milestone is way over the line.
