The feedback I continue to receive confirms that our community values the dedication of the Springfield police force. I am currently organizing the collected signatures to present them formally to the city council members who oversee these budgetary decisions.

Ridiculous that they are even considering this. Keep the pay as is and give them the raise they earned. Springfield needs to do better by our officers.

These guys put their lives on the line every single day for us. They deserve every penny they get. Stop messing with their pay.
