We (the parents of Noah's Ark and "Mother's Morning Out") request that St. Stephen's and Noah's ark leadership follow state guidelines issued by Governor Wolf that state masks are recommended, not required, for all students for the 2021-2022 school year.
The mask mandate in Pennsylvania was lifted on June 28, 2021. Mask mandates for all ages and for any school activities are no longer required.
We believe parents/families should be able to perform their own risk assessment, considering physical, mental, and psychological risks and benefits for their children when it comes to all medical decisions, including masking.
We THANK YOU for a healthy and successful MASK OPTIONAL 2021 Summer program at Mother's Morning Out.
By signing this petition, we officially and respectfully request that you continue to make face-coverings optional for all children at Noah's Ark and Mother's Morning Out.

Early Childhood years are vital to the development of clear pronunciation which happens by hearing words AND watching a human mouth move. (This is why TV is not best for language development.) We would feel most comfortable with our teachers not wearing masks to help with language development. We also feel that social emotion wellbeing is important and most beneficial to see when someone is had or happy without a mask. Masks prevent the development of the whole child. Thanks for taking the time to read.
Unfortunately I’m not surprised, but I wish someone there would have the common sense to back off. Kids have little risk, so this is all for show.
Please let parents decide when it comes to their children’s health!.

As always I am humbled to be included in the St. Stephen's family and Noah's Ark community. I sign this petition because I feel masks are not a healthy thing for our society to continue to support. However I fully support our school and our church leadership. Although I hope masks will be optional, I hope our community can see this petition as parents input and NOT as a criticism or yet another thing that divides people in these challenging times.
