Most Private schools have been in the position since the start of the pandemic to fully function without making children wear masks. Children being mandated to wear masks was only to curb the spread to adults whom they're in close contact with throughout the school day. Now that every adult; both parents and school staff, has had the opportunity to be vaccinated, children should no longer be made to wear masks.

By making mask wearing optional for private school children, parents can now decide if it's appropriate their children to continue mask wearing in the 2021-2022 school year. This is a personal family decision.

We are imploring the decision makers at Hancock to take this into serious consideration. Our children should not suffer for the personal choices of adults. It's time to free them from the mask! Please sign if you agree masking should be optional, NOT mandatory.
