Please do not cancel this program. If its funding you need reach out to the community. This is a great program bkth for the young kids and for high school kids. It builds confidence, courage and bonds. This is needed in our community.

I took this class in highschool for 2 years ! It was such an amazing class ! All schools should have one as it helps students learn a lot of things . It was also lots of fun to interact with the children ! They definitely need to keep this class going !

This is such an important program. I took it in Grade 11 and it subsequently set me on a track of child care and early childhood education as my profession. I am now a registered early childhood educator and work as an advocate and policy researcher in Toronto. If it was not for my little buddy and the opportunity to work with young children through this program, my high school experience and now my career would have been greatly diminished. Please do not cut this program. Let's work with the ministry to get it licensed!

Two of our children were Teddy Bear playschool grads. One is hoping to take part in the program as a teenager. For us, it held the perfect balance of socializing and learning. I can't say enough great things about the program. Hope it continues.

With all the other cuts to our education system why would anyone consider taking away something our youth enjoy and look forward to....school is about learning and with programs like these our youth are learning many lessons not just the math, reading and writing required in life. After 30 years of success the old saying goes if it ain't broke don't fix it. Some things you can not learn just sitting in a class you got to experince it and this program is doing that for them....leave it be and find something else to destroy!!!!

I did teddy bear playschool at the satellite school in Brown's Farm in 1994. It is a needed thing for our young youth to learn. The more you take away from our schools systems the more our society in general suffers.

All 3 of my children atrended the teddy bear school program. It is an amazing program for children and the students that work with them. They have an amazing teacher Gina Brush who has made this program what it is today. It would be a great shame if you cancelled this program.
