The feedback regarding the health implications of merle breeding in American Bullies confirms that many people share my concerns about this practice. I am currently compiling documentation on the associated genetic defects to present to the ABKC board. Persistent advocacy is necessary to ensure these registration standards are addressed properly.

Please fix this. Merle is not part of the standard and shouldnt be getting special treatment just because of certain kennels.
Health matters more than color. Why are we letting this continue?
Its pretty clear that blueswagger is getting a pass while everyone else has to follow the rules. This needs to end.
Enough with the merles already. It is ruining the look of the bully breed and creating too many health problems for the pups. Stop the registration now.

The Merle Patterned American Bully is a historical and fundamental part of our breed yet allowed to register but not shown. Kens Blueswaggerline is a very important area of the breed and will continue to be allowed registration as long as the American Bully is an accomplished and developed breed.
