We, residents of the Pleasantville Union Free School District, petition the Board of Education of the Pleasantville Union Free School District to temporarily cease the current search for a new principal of Pleasantville High School, temporarily reinstate Dawn Bartz and hire an independent consultant to conduct an independent investigation into the events and circumstances leading up to the agreement signed on May 23, 2013 by Mary Fox-Alter, Dawn Bartz, Stephen Chamberlain, and Lois Winkler.  As taxpayers in this community, we want to be sure all mandated procedures were properly followed.
