The business owners have united with one voice and all agree that the current use of the square for drugs and alcohol, feeding the pigeons and the over all intimidating environment created by our less fortunate community members can no longer be tolerated.
The negative image of its current use creates an environment not conducive to business. We as community leaders look to encourage a healthier use by the community such as local fairs, youth driven activities and as a summertime entertainment venue.
Please join us in petitioning along side our local elected officials to remove the planters currently being used as benches.

Finally! I cant even take my kids to walk past there because of all the trash and people hanging out drinking in public. It needs to be safe again.

18th street deserves better. clean up the plaza and stop letting it be a mess. lets use that space for something the neighborhood can actually be proud of.
