Imagine you are watching your sweet little sister, that has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, while your mom is at work. The sun is out and it's a beautiful day outside, so you decide to take her to the park! You get all of her stuff in a backpack and start walking to your neighborhood park. Your little sister makes all of her happy sounds on the way there and you talk to her about what they can do. As you come up to the playground you realize there is a big problem. There is a ramp to get onto the playground but the playground is full of pea-gravel which makes it impossible to get a wheelchair through. Because of this you have to tell your sister that you can't go to the park anymore and she is devastated. It's really hard to explain that she can't be on the playground because of her wheelchair.

Hello my name is Mady Beck and I am with SGC FCCLA. I am participating in a STAR Event called Public Policy Advocate, through this I want to bring awareness for inclusive playgrounds. This topic is very important to me because I believe that every child has a right to play on a playground and have fun! Please take a minute to sign my petition to raise awareness for the need of inclusive playgrounds around us! Thank you

The momentum is incredible. Watching this pick up speed proves that everyone wants playgrounds to be accessible for all children.
