we got the confirmation today that they are meeting all our demands regarding the course maintenance and staff payments. im honestly so relieved that we finally reached this outcome together. ill be keeping a close eye on everything to make sure they follow through as promised.

Pinheiros Altos Member's petition to JJW Portugal SA
JJW Portugal SA to guarantee funds for the course and include a full appropriate program for maintenance of the course , mainly greens, tees, Fairways , Bunkers & Buggy Paths.
JJW Portugal SA to guarantee payment of the Pinheiros Altos golf staff ,as required by law & secure all expenses such as tax & social security.
JJW Portugal SA to urgently re-instate the STRI, to visit the course twice a year.
Members requires services in the club to be re-instated such as Academy Bar, Buggy Bar, Food service all day in line with previous years, pre-covid19.
An investment on the course irrigation system is required urgently, and a date should be put in place for these works to be carried out.
Clubhouse is to be maintained at a higher level of quality, to reflect the members subscriptions, to the company, and works such as painting, and maintenance of outside furniture should start immediately. Budget should include new furniture where required.
More buggies required to fulfill the needs of the members on busier days.
Finally members need in writing a guaranttee from the share holder prior to the payment of the 2022 annual subscriptions due on 31st December 2021.

just saw we hit 100 signatures today which is way more than i thought would happen this fast. its super clear that everyone feels the same way about fixing the course and getting these services back on track.

the silence from jjw is getting louder but we are keeping the pressure on. i have been hearing from so many of you and it is clear we all want the same thing for our course.

As an overseas based member it is distressing to hear of the neglect and lack of investment in our Course by JJW. With the difficulties of travel in a pandemic this underinvestment offers little incentive to renew membership in 2022.
Totally disappointed that this once great course and clubhouse has greatly deteriorated. The calcada paths are dangerous. Once a proud member - I would now be ashamed to invite a guest as the course and surrounding facilities are all in need of very urgent attention
This is the last chance for JJW. The membership have had enough of the lack of commitment to the Golf CLub and the broken promises. Either the staff are treated correctly and a program of investment in the course and buildings is started immediately or the subscriptions will not be paid.
I genuinely hope this encourages the owner to find his MORAL COMPASS. The recent treatment/abuse of loyal staff and the total lack of respect shown to members, aligned with the apparent disinterest over many years in maintaining a valuable asset in Pinheiros Altos Golf Club is truly beyond belief!
Very disappointed when I returned to our club after being away for a few months..... untidy, scruffy dangerous buggy paths, the greens were a joke, clearly no investment from our owners who don’t seem to care..... I would be embarrassed to bring a guest or recommend Pinheiros Altos to anyone !
Just want a properly presented course and clubhouse for my annual fee. The current course and clubhouse is simply not good enough and you are taking advantage by my obligation to pay the annual fee.
I agree with each point and urge we take whatever legal action in needed to resolve this issue.

We agree with all points raised in this petition. As relative new owners and members of PA we have seen a deterioration of the course and club facilities over this short period. JJW do not appear to have any commitment to members and staff of PA golf club. JJW should either sell or invest.
