Our purpose is to help ensure the long term viability of the cemetery in a manner that represents the wishes of those who have an interest in preserving its non-religious affiliation.
The cemetery's historical intention and ongoing existence since 1878 has been as an entity without religious affiliation. To change that would be a violation of the original intention and its one hundred thirty-five year legacy.
If the cemetery were to become religiously affiliated, options would narrow for those wishing to be buried in Northbridge.
The momentum behind this effort proves that Northbridge refuses to let our history be hijacked by these religious opportunists. Our neighbors are waking up to this hostile takeover and the city council cannot ignore us any longer.

So frustrated by this. Please respect the wishes of the people buried there and their families who still live here.

This place has been neutral for over a century. Why change it now? Keep it the way it was always intended to be.

Leave it alone. History matters and this place belongs to everyone in town, not just one group.

Ridiculous idea. It works fine as a public space. Don't fix what isnt broken just to push an agenda.
