This would be disastrous for our area. How could we possibly support the waste management, water use and animal habitat. The amount of traffic coming and going through the park is already bad enough.
I live outside the notification zone.

Law enforcement already cannot prevent RVs and camping trailers from illegally using Contzen Pass on Picture Rocks Road. Nor is law enforcement able to prevent constant speeding, tailgating and passing on a double yellow line through this area. I see it every single day. How will law enforcement prevent 200 plus RVs from making a dangerous road more dangerous? Beyond this, the idea of displacing flora and fauna visible from the Saguaro West area in favor of a large RV park is sadly outrageous. There is no commercial operation of this size anywhere near this location, so it will completely change the character of the neighborhood. There is no legal way to reach the proposed site without astronomically increasing noise and congestion in a quiet neighborhood. The proposal is a great deal for the RV developers and an ugly deal for the citizens of Picture Rocks, Pima County, the State of Arizona and the United States who value the irreplaceable gem that is Saguaro West National Park. Do the right thing: deny the rezoning request.

Pristine, quiet, underpopulated Picture Rocks needs a crowded, noisy, environmentally unfriendly RV park like it needs more rocks. Leave it alone!

Have to change the gvwr restrictions on PR Road while you’re bending over for this developer.

No! We don't need the extra level of traffic and possible increase of criminal activity. Our roads aren't built to handle the load they currently receive.

This is a horrible idea, you need to keep this out of the area

The harm to the ecological balance will be horrifying. The impact on traffic will be unmanageable. The egress via Picture Rocks Rd. Is already dangerous enough. The drain on our water resources and flood management will be irreparable. This community is a precious resource and should not be exploited.

I own a home in Picture Rocks and I do not see any benefit to our small community. I think that it would destroy alot of beautiful desert and traffic and crime will definitely be higher. NO, NO, NO TO THIS!

Just a few years ago, the county was considering closing Picture Rocks due to too much traffic...now this? Don't RV's exceed the weigh limit recently implemented through the monument?

No, we live out here for a reason. Put the RV park somewhere along the freeway in one of the empty abandoned commercial lots already zoned for this type of thing.

I am totally opposed to this crap. We are restricted by the park for our beautiful animals. I have been here 35 yrs and wildlife has declined even with the restrictions. I am handicapped and cannot attend the meeting but would if I could
Thus is the dumbest thing ever. I am just a short distance from this essay then 1/2 mile. We abide by the law why should they be allowed to change the law to suit their want of money and ruin our desert some more
