this is destructive to the local environment and picture rocks cannot handle more people of that capacity.

This absurd project it will impact not only the residents of this beautiful area but all the wildlife and vegetation. Not mentionning the impact on the traffic, Exiting Tula to Picture Rocks can be dangerous, the noise, the light pollution and the nuisance created by more ATV. I live outside the thousand foot notification zone but despite that like all the Picture Rocks residents and I will be impacted.

I am against rezoning the Picture Rocks property for an RV park. I am a Pima County resident and have already seen way too much expansion into our green spaces. I often go to the Picture Rock area to enjoy the natural beauty of the desert. I fear more run off and erosion from the construction of so many lots if we disturb this land and allow the park to go forward (something we are already seeing in many of the new housing developments in the county). I am loathe to imagine the increased traffic we will also have to endure in a small rural community. Please do not allow this rezoning to happen. I do not live within the 1000 foot notification zone.

The town of picture rocks is not equipped to handle the influx of traffic that an event resort would bring. The entry and exit Tula lane Or rudasill would cause disturbances for both the residents, park road restrictions, and already congested picture rocks road traffic.

This is completely insane, the roads in the area aren't even maintained, Tula has potholes in the pothole patches, literally. This is a NO WAY, this community is already ignored.

This RV park should not be built at this location.

This is a beautiful area that does not need busy traffic.

I vehemently oppose this RV park on Tula Ln…. There is too much traffic and congestion thru the monument already and we are already raping the desert for housing … we need to keep this a wide open space for future generations to enjoy…. I vote a very loud NO!

This simply is not consistent with the spirit of the current zoning of 1ac per home. Should be a non-starter from the very first thought.

Building an RV park so close to Saguaro National park would have multiple negative effects on the ecology and wildlife in the area. In addition, it would bring more traffic than the single lane road can handle. It will also negatively impact the water supply in the area if 200 RVs are using groundwater, causing a water shortage for neighboring home owners.

I am outside the 1,000' notification but considering we have 1 acre lots, 1,000' is NOTHING. Especially when most of us moved here BECAUSE it is rural. I do live in Picture Rocks and travel Picture Rocks road daily. In addition to the negative effects on residents & pollution, I'm sure it will significantly negatively impact wildlife.

I can remember there was a time when there was talk of closing or making Picture Rocks road a toll road due to the increasing traffic and pollution affecting the saguaros. Now you want to put in an RV park? Why do you always want to come out here and tear up the desert with 1-11 or RV parks? Keep that nonsense up in Phoenix where it belongs. This is just a real bad idea. Pollution, noise, traffic, transients and a draw on our natural resources. So as our state is facing water shortages where is the water to come from? Us? Conserving even more so someone can line their pockets with an RV park that no one wants and is definitely is NOT needed? Its just a real bad idea.

This is a terrible idea that will further disrupt the ecology of the Sonoran Desert. We have been given a gift in the beauty and diversity of our environment here, please stop allowing unchecked development to ruin it.

This is not a good place for an RV park! We don't want the extra traffic and wear and tear on our already poorly maintained roads. We don't want the extra noise and lights impacting our quiet community. And we certainly don't want the surely deleterious impact on local flora and fauna. And what about waste disposal??? NO to the rezoning for this!

I live on Bobcat Lane, about 1/2 miles from this proposed RV park. The safety and beauty of the neighborhood will suffer if this proposal passes, as will property value. Vote NO to this proposed zoning change.

Agree that this is a terrible idea and will destroy the flora and fauna of this area. How will law enforcement prevent 200 plus RVs from making a dangerous road more dangerous? Beyond this, the idea of displacing flora and fauna visible from the Saguaro West area in favor of a large RV park is sadly outrageous. Please do not approve this RV park.
