Bringing 200 RVs into a pristine part of the park it’s not a viable option, The animal population of unique species would suffer greatly as well as the flora. Picture rocks Road is already a dangerous place for passenger vehicles putting this number of motorhomes in the mix would create a threat to human life.

I am signing this petition because i do not want an RV park out in Picture Rocks I enjoy having land all around being natural desert and everyone on an acre I do not want an rv park out here. I enjoy the desert, views and wildlife that we have out here and do not want to see those going away

I live at 6270 N. Tula Ln. directly across from the proposed Montana's Del Sol. Rezoning will destroy the peace and tranquility that drew me to purchase my retirement home here. In 1972 I visited this area of majestic Saguaro forest and initiated my plan to retire as close to the monument as possible, and in 2015 I found the perfect place here on Tula Ln. . I am 74 and I still drive a school bus for MUSD. My plan is to retire within the next two years and living across the road from an RV park is not acceptable.

I'm totally against this project. My property is within the 1000 feet. Actually on Picture Rocks across the street.

I oppose even the idea of rezoning. I consider the idea of rezoning to be a violation of the rights of the people who bought their properties years ago attracted to this area as a rural district. I share concerns of all my neighbors: traffic, water, and power supply, and the main thing is natural life. 76 acres will be completely taken away from the natural habitat. A large fenced and tarmacked cage for tourists, transients will dramatically change the environment of this small community. More humane way to sell it by an acre lot. Some of the neighbors will buy an acre not to build but rather as a buffer zone for the property they have. I will buy an acre for my grandson, he is 4. In 30 years he will decide what he wants to do with his acre meanwhile rabbits, deer, roadrunners, and such will enjoy a free rent on this land.

We live out here to enjoy our peace and quiet. We do not need the extra traffic and when will our government understand we do not have an unlimited supply of water here and in the state of Arizona.

I oppose this development. Traffic and wildlife issues are my major concerns.

The risk of having more traffic congestion followed by accidents are unavoidable.

I oppose building an R V park. I bought my home out here to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I enjoy the peace and quiet. I enjoy the sounds of nature and I enjoy the views.

No!No!No! Take your plans and shove em'! These roads are unsafe enough as it is without 400 more drivers on them.

Although I live outside the 1000' notification zone - I drive past this area twice a day every day. I would hate to see it spoiled by something so commercial. Those of us that live out here in Picture Rocks do so for a reason - Trailers/Trucks are not allowed to got through the monument - so what are they going to do - Clog up Sandario & Picture Rocks? It just needs to go away. If they want to put one - try looking out by Marana HS - they park right next to that STUPID Monsanto Plant that we couldn't do anything about.

I live on N. Desert View Dr., just barely past the notification zone, so I did not even know about this terrible project until late in the game. I am vehemently opposed to this project as it will create huge negative impacts on our community.

People live out here for a reason. Keep the peace and build your park where you are not bothering anyone.

Has an Environmental Impact Study been done on this proposed project? Can Pima County tell us how this will effect the noise, pollution, traffic, crime and our property values. There is no upside to building a tourist attraction of this size in our quiet neighborhood. This project will only serve to put a strain on the infrastructure of Picture Rocks and lower our communities well being. I oppose this project.

We live within the one thousand foot notification area. We moved here twelve years ago to enjoy the rural nature of this area, the proximity to Saguaro National Park, and the plants and animals that surround us on our land. A commercial development such an an RV park is not appropriate for our beautiful and undisturbed desert landscape. Such a park has many detrimental aspects for all who live in the Picture Rocks area - not just those who live within one thousand feet of the proposed development. An RV park does not belong next to Saguaro National Park. Please note that such developments do not sit at the entrance our other magnificent national parks. Our area does not have nor will it ever have the infrastructure to support such a development. RV parks are not commensurate with the nature of our community. We respectfully request that the Pima County Board of Supervisors deny the proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan.

I live within the 1000’. This will ruin my views and the quiet small town feel of the area
