The mayor and her idiot followers need to stay in the city limits. We live out here because there isn't a ton of people unless it's the freaking tourist or snow burds

Roads and infrastructure can’t handle that amount of new housing. Roads and infrastructure aren’t kept up now

Fully disagree, on having this put into our neighborhood, there will be water issues, sewerage issues. Traffic and trafficking...issues.

I strongly oppose rezoning the approximately 76-acre areas of pristine Sonoran Desert at the southwest corner of Picture Rocks Rd and Tula Ln in Picture Rocks, Arizona to allow a private enterprise to build a 200-space parking lot for visiting recreational vehicles. As a Picture Rocks resident for nearly 30 years in the immediate neighborhood, such a change would have an irreversible negative effect on our lives. Not only would the 24-hour-per-day business disturb the abundant wildlife in and around nearby Saguaro National Park, it would also upset the serene rural lifestyle of Picture Rocks people, without offering any corresponding benefit to either human or animal residents. In fact, if permitted the development would destroy beautiful and uniquely-vegetated land; clog roads not designed for huge recreational vehicles; and introduce sound, air, water and light pollution to an area that’s value is its beauty and peaceful climate. Please do not approve the variance that the prospective developer requests.

I moved all the way from NJ to get away from exactly this kind of nonsense. I want to enjoy the beauty, the nature, the peace and quiet. NO to the RV park. -Leah Capece

Bunch of big RV's using that narrow winding road should cause some concern

We don't need an RV park out here there are way better places to put something like that. The roads are designed for that kind of use and most of us moved out here to escape that kind of stuff to enjoy the Desert and wildlife. Leave our little slice of Peace alone.

No to RV park we live one street over from proposed plan. The roads cannot handle the traffic, turning on to Tula from Picture Rocks Rd is already dangerous. Wildlife habitat will be destroyed. This is a quiet peaceful area and we would prefer it to stay that way.

Down Rudisill rd there is already a major issue with people that exceeded the speed limit by 40-50 mile per hour, I also enjoyed riding through this area horse back and would prefer to see the desert retain it’s beauty rather than it be degraded in this such way. -James Davis

Picture Rocks Road is already one of the most dangerous roads in Pima county. This would only increase accidents and injuries if allowed to pass.

There is no way we could handle the increased traffic and RVs cannot even come in on Picture Rocks Road they would have a long round about trip to even get there. I will vote no.
