Phil worked in the very first custom shop for Leo Fender & George Fullerton. He made guitars for George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Stu Hamm, Albert Lee& many others from the late 60's thru his passing in 2013.

His 3 patents on the Factor Bass Guitars, as well as many of hiscustominstrumentsmade music that still stands today. His guitars are highly sought after and are like balanced and blueprinted yet simple ergonomic works of art. He took care of what took care of histories finest musicians all over the world & was the NICEST person you could have ever met. Also one of the most understatinglybrilliant. He deserves this, ask anyone that knew him or has one of his instruments.. Then please sign.. Thank you

Seeing this momentum grow has brought back so many memories of Phil working away in his shop with that quiet genius of his. He never sought the spotlight for himself but he certainly earned it through the instruments he built for the giants of music. It feels like we are finally giving his legacy the recognition it deserves.

I knew Phil only a very short time and was immediately impressed with his knowledge of working with wood and his ability to bring out the best it had to offer and to correct any imperfections that might exist. He was truely a friendly person to know.

There is not enough room here to write all the good things about him that I'd want to say...
