Purdue started the Oxy epidemic. The others followed with other opioids to replace oxy. Fentanyl started the worst drug epidemic in our lives. They should be ACCOUNTABLE. The Ontario government was given an extra 222 million for the next couple years to fix this. with no opioid specific treatment available and the few that are takes over a year to get in and by then its too late. now we have it coming in from china. we need more enforcement to stop this and they should pay for this also. it CAN be stopped. but will take money.
Purdue Pharmaceuticals is worth 35 billion
Novartis (Sandaz) 150 billion
Johnson and Johnson (Janssen) 65 billion
Actavis/Watson 120 billion
yes they all make opioids including fentanyl. now these companies are making money hand over fist with Naloxone. pretty genius. but our government is NOT responsible so why should our taxpayers pay? All we need is a few million to open new treatment faciilites/more workers/drs etc..they wont because it makes them accountable. LETS MAKE THEM ACCOUNTABLE!!
