I have been a citizen of Chanhassen for over 25 years and I oppose this development, particularly using TIFF dollars to finance it.

I am a resident of Chanhassen. I live within walking distance of our "downtown" My kids and I love to explore shops and restaurants that are walkable. Unfortunately, Chanhassen has very few to offer. We do not need a grocery store and apartments in this area of Chanhassen. We need more of a shopping downtown to draw people here.

I am a Chanhassen resident and we don't need another grocery store in the city and have our taxes increase to pay for this project.

I am a resident of Chanhassen and I oppose the Aldi/housing project. The last thing we need is another grocery store. How about a non-chain restaurant? Or a downtown shopping area? We already have multi-housing with constant vacancies. What ever happened with that downtown study? Never heard the outcome. What's the rush on this project? Let's get it right.

Keep Aldi and this apartment building out of Chanhassen. We are taxed enough already.

We moved here for the "country and community feel" Chanhassen has. So far our corn and pumpkin stand have been taken away. Please don't take away the only downtown area that has any character. Eden Prairie is just down the road.

The last thing this area needs is another grocery store. Development is good for our community but only when it's something we need. This is not and will change the community for the worse. It may suit developers financial needs but does not benefit our community. Please think of the overall feel of Chanhassen. You know this doesn't belong here. Please do what's right!

What type of down town does Chanhassen want to be identified with? A high density rental property or an infrastructure of e-commerce. Save the potential we have, not the short sightiness we have been shown!

We REALLY don't need another grocery store... especially in that area!
