I don't support this. We don't need an Aldi or the apartment complex. Eden Prairie already has an Aldi.

As a resident of Chanhassen, I think it’s just horrible that I will be forced to fund the Pohlad family's plan to further enrich themselves, which will, incidentally, turn our town in to a 6-story traffic-filled mess. I have no problem with wealth, just robbery via taxation. We are being forced to fund something we don't want, need, or benefit from -- and will ruin the character of our town. This is a form of theft. Mayor Laufenburger and the City Council have perhaps forgotten whom they serve... And do we really need another grocery store?

This is not a smart choice for this our town. This will take away from its character that everyone loves and desires.

Why doesn't the city look at supporting small start-up businesses that really need it rather than pocketing more money for the already rich. City and residents should NOT pay a cent for this.
I am a business owner on that very stretch of Chanhassen. This is NOT the place to toss up an apartment complex. With the likelihood of an additional 200+ cars (+guests) in just the apartment complex alone...not including Aldi, coming and going on a 2 way main thoroughfare. The Pohlad's have plenty of real estate, in Chanhassen, to select from! Just NOT WEST 78TH!

This development may ruin the dinner theatre, a staple of Chanhassen that has been around for years.

I am a 20 year citizen of chanhassen. We do not need another grocery store and we do not need to subsidize this project. Let's slow down and figure out a better project for our city!

Tax payers should not be footing the bill on this.

Please keep Chanhassen quaint. I don't want us looking like Eden Prairie. We have such a nice space there. What is planned would ruin the area completely!
Please don't destroy Chanhassen
