Fire her. Her behavior and comments should not be tolerated. If she was white and made the remarks against black men there would be a firestorm.

Fire this idiot. It's people like her who continue to fan the flames of racism. If she is so passionate then I suggest she become part of.the solution and not the problem.

I find it ridiculous that black on white racism is not acknowledged. I recognize that white on black racism exists.... Saida should not be in a position of power or education with the stereotypes that she holds true.

Clear case of racism towards whites. Teachers must not be bias. Racism should never be tolerated.

Definition of Racism:
1: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2: racial prejudice or discrimination
Based on the definition, how exactly are her comments considered "opinions" and not open racism? If racial divides are ever to be bridged in this country then ALL racial classes must be protected, not just a select few.

Racism and sexism have no place in higher education or elsewhere for that matter.

How is Boston University honoring it's students and helping the country by promoting freedom of HATE speech and racial bias?

Does BU not have any faculty racist standards? Just how bad does the racism need to be before BU will terminate? As the BU president said, if she had just expressed her racism differently there wouldn't be this issue now.

As a proud alumnus of BU, I truly hope they get rid of this deplorable woman before she gets a chance to teach!

In Academia today, it is an unfortunate fact that one-sided rants like Grundy's against white males are considered "radically sexy." Ms. Grundy: Grow up.

If you have those feelings towards any race, that is racism. Why the double standards, reverse the rolls and see what is said.

This is ridiculous. Her comment of "every MLK week i commit myself to not spending a dime in white-owned businesses. and every year i find it nearly impossible." How can that be taken any other way than racist. I get sick and tired of all the black white debates. Why can't people just be people.
