Treat here just like you would a white man who might have said something similar about let's say black males? NO DOUBLE STANDARDS.

Racism is a problem on both sides and there should be no room/excuses/tolerance for it in the university setting.

Comments such as hers suggest a lack of understanding regarding the history of slavery. Even if her comments pertained to a broader context, it indicates she does not understand how to properly communicate thoughts and/or opinions.

A black female with a PhD is THE problem for America's colleges. Deal with your black shit, black people. slavery is a *NIGGA* thing. Every White Heritage Month I commit myself to not spending a dime in black-owned businesses. And every year I find it very easy.

Racism is racism regardless of what color the racist is. I don't care if she were brown, white, black, yellow, purple, green or any other color of the spectrum. If she were white saying "why is black america so reluctant to identify black college males as a problem population?", there would be an uproar for her to be removed from office. Racism is racism no matter how the blanks are filled in.

If this comment is made by a white person they would be fired !! Her comments are racist & sexist and rude, not acceptable in our 2015 world. I do not know this young lady and can only assume the is a wonderful person however her comments are not acceptable and her apology is nothing more than a tick the box exercise. It is time to move on from blaming anyone alive today for slavery, we were not alive during those days and have nothing to do with it , her hate is apparent and that is wrong for all of us, black & while alike. We forced former LA Clippers owned & racist person Donald T. Sterling to sell his NBA team for racist comments that he made in the privacy of his home , we do not have to accept public racist & sexist comments. The double standard is apparent and it is time to set an example that both black & white people are held accountable for racist remarks, not just white people.

She is there to teach and leave an impression on the youth of America. America now knows she is passionate about speaking out against the white male/white HUMANS, why would anyone want to send their son/daughter to a school that encourages hatred based on skin color? This is who the teacher is, yes she may hide it for awhile until the heat is off her but it will come out sooner than later. Then you will have a much bigger problem on your hands.

Just knowing you have an openly racist professor that targets 99% of your student body is beyond excusable. This woman representing Boston College actually represents everything wrong with this country.

Teaching and Education is not only an honor, its a major undertaking. Shaping minds and providing knowledge requires discipline and responsibility. At a time when America is suffering as a result of ignorance and racism, hate has no place in the classroom.

I wouldn't take her class if I were black, either! Who wants to learn more hate?

This woman perpetuates hate. If looking to a better future is the solution, then this woman is the Black Plague. Hypocrisy only breeds more resentment and anger.

Racism is evil. Being black and being a racist is unfortunately condoned in America. It has become a "black privilege". When called out, the black racist claims the accuser to be a racist, riots are incited, benefit concerts held by Prince etc. Black privilege is the new social blackmail used by black racists. Do not condone racism. Do not allow black racists to employ social blackmail.

Reverse racism at its finest. Keep sweeping it under the rug.

I think this can not stand, we are supposed to be united as one, not seperated as many. Technically i fall under the "white male" population. If on 4/20 i made a social media statement to not shop at a black owned business there would be no argument that this was racist. However "reverse racism" is allowed to run rampant without a slap on the wrist. Things need to change. We cannot allow our educators to hold positions like this whilst spreading their personal agendas. Secondly as an eastern european male of the college age, i have a full time position with a fortune 500 company, im extremely troublesome. The blind ignorance of this woman can not continue, as well as her blatent disrespect of anyone who is not of an "ethnic" group.
