If Saida Grundy were Caucasian and making this statement about 'black males', we'd see riots in the streets! Boston University should fire Saida Grundy and anyone one else who feeds 'racist' rhetoric. The problem is not white, black, yellow...it is the bigots like Saida who hang onto and feed the hate. Shame on Saida and all those of any race, religion, etc. who hang onto stereotypes and do the reverse of making this world a better place by promoting inclusion and forward thinking.

if these comments were made by a white person that person would be fired, and possibly charged with disseminating hate speech. this is not the kind of person that we want in any kind of position where social neutrality is required. to continue to employ her, or to even consider it, would be tantamount to supporting hate crime.

She has no intention of educating. She's planning to indoctrinate a cult. Not to mention the fact that she's incapable of bellowing out anything new or useful for Black Americans She puts black people in harms way and does nothing to give them hope for success in life. She needs to go and be gone, as a symbol of how useless her rhetoric is for black people.

Completely unacceptable. The double standard here has to be dealt with.

This egregious expression of racial and sexist hate speech is an insult to academics and our culture at large. Ignoring radicalists of minority skin colors or political views spewing their own hatred in public is effectively condoning their actions. Do the right thing, remove the hatemonger.

Her position is now untenable and she should resign, but because she won't then she must be fired.

If you cannot teach ALL students equally regardless of skin color or gender, find a new profession. It's obvious that students deemed "white" and "male" will not be treated fairly in this classroom. I will never send my kids to BU or any school that hires such teachers. The school has a policy against such behavior and needs to follow it otherwise they condone it and reflects poorly on their school. People have choices in life, they have freedom of speech but that doesn't mean there isn't consequences to what you say.

A racist is a racist until people no longer see color of persons skin. Any color and the comment about not supporting white owned establishments is flat racism.

She should be terminated and not allowed to teach her racist views at Boston University.

A travesty that such a bigot is employed at any teaching institution.
