Those who rise to the rank of university professor are to embody intelligence, rationale, logic, empathy and operate with respect to the greater good. With all due respect, Ms. Grundy's ignorance about many historical events is alarming. To cite one example, her knowledge of the history of slavery in Europe is very limited and her logic is juvenille and rather baseless. Her tweets sound like the rants of an ignorant child. Her viewpoints discredit the role of university professor.
