Arguably a product of affirmative action. The only apparent qualification of either is the color of her skin. Undenaibly, this individual is not qualified to be a professor.
Had this been a white man, he would have been fired ON THE SPOT.
Double standards do not get rid of racism, IT REINFORCES THEM.

I 'd planned to donate, but that won't happen while "Dr." Grundy is with the university. She should be informed that the university's large Jewish and white population bears no responsibility for slavery, other than a history of our own slavery and genocide. West Africa had its own tradition of slavery, long before European exploitation. Please send this idiot packing. She's a serial and unapologetic bigot, not to mention quite ignorant. So glad my Ph.D. isn't from Michigan. Obviously, a poor institution and a third rate state school.

Fire her! And give her racist, sexist, intolerant, ungrateful ass a one-way ticket to any African country. And incidentally, Saida is a light skinned African so there's white somewhere in her genetics! I pity her students.

Here we see the putrid hypocrisy codified in the doctrins of women's studies , identity politics and mail order sociology degrees. Ah isn't cultural Marxism grand ? If you play the word game and switch "white men" with Jews or black men , you cannot distinguish the words of Saida Grundy with those of a Nazi or member of the KKK. The University of Michigan and Boston University have a good deal to answer for. It's become clear the administration at BU are either the most disgraceful of cowards , or they share the reprehensible ideology of Grundy. It is my hope that the students and Alumni of BU have more ethics than the president of the university and protest this the hiring of this clearly sociopathic rasist and sexist ignoramus.

@ Laura Milburn, the answer to your question is no this petition did not do any good. In a shorter period of time her advocates have amassed 25% more signatures than her detractors here. We simply lack the ability to rally sufficient support which is a scathing indictment of us as a society. When this hate speech is donned freedom of expression and tolerated by one group of individuals but excoriated by another we have lost all hope for true equality.

This woman, aside from being hateful, bigoted, and ignorant, isnt even smart enough to form a coherent argument based on facts. Maybe 8.20 per hour would be more appropriate than 82,000 based on her IQ deficiencies.
