Hatred and gross generalizations about any group of people, is immoral, no matter who is doing the hating. Had she said such grossly racist things as a white woman, we wouldn't have this petition; the job offer would have been rescinded.

As a leader, educator and someone responsible for influencing the future of our youths (all of them, regardless of race), this was highly inappropriate. Race issues should not be ignored and yes we need to discuss but statements of bigotry is not acceptable!

Racism exists in all forms, but the fact that she will teach white males, will she be fair? You have to wonder. No, she does not deserve this position in this University. Send a message that this is not tolerated in any form. If a white person would point out the obvious in the black community, would that person not be fired. Freedom of speech is one thing...and we need it, however you have wonder what she is going to teach.

Why is it okay for her to say this about white males without any consequences? If a white professor said this about black males, they would be fired on the spot with the liberal national media calling for their head on a platter.

A university should not employ a bigot. This woman is openly a racist. Boston University owes the American public an apology and this so called educator should be relieved of her duties and barred from teaching in any capacity.

racism exists in all ethnic classes; this is the sad situation of creating many nations under one nation. Differences are always going to be hard to tolerate but we must have leaders especially in our university system that practice and teach others to be accepting of anyone. I'm an educated white male but not a racist. I guess I'm an anomaly to her theory

Take any statement on race and reverse the race mentioned and that of the person who posted it. If the reversed statement would cause outrage, then the statement is racist. End of conversation. Bigotry is bigotry, regardless of who is making the statements.

Equality is equality. A white person making similar comments would create a firestorm, and would unquestionably be terminated. Racism isn't acceptable merely because the racist is black.

If you were to flip her statements on white males to statements on black males it would be seen as incredibly racist. Reverse racism is not justified. Incredible to see such an educated person make such uneducated public statements
