Saida Grundy has proven that she is not fit to teach.

I have read several comments regarding Ms. Grundy's comments, calling for support for her. I am struck by one from a Ms. Elaine Foster that is shockingly on point..."[w]hen you spoil a child and tell them how amazing they are for their entire lives, they become raging victims when anyone questions their perfection." The remaining criticism of white men has been deliberately excluded. I could not have expressed my feelings more perfectly... Learn to pull your "equal weight in our society, or stop demanding something that you 1) haven't earned, and 2) don't deserve.

Freedom of speech is something I cherish, and while I support her freedom to say these things, no university should feel pressure to keep such an obvious bigot in their employment.

Its time we round up these fucks and ruin their lives.

I am white and I am proud. I am a 45 years old FEMALE. I have never owned a slave, and there has NEVER been a single WHITE FEMALE college fund that I can recall. NOR has there been a WHITE APPRECIATION MONTH! Im tired of being discriminated against! I bet this woman had her college paid for by grants provided to her by WHITE PEOPLE. unbelievable. Angela

Saida isn't even smart enough to hide her blatantly racist beliefs. She justifies her racist beliefs on the perceived racism of white males. Does she not realize the recursive nature of such faulty logic. She represents in my opinion a clear and present danger to white male students.

I actually don't want her to get fired, because I think people should be able to express their opinions, even if they're deemed hateful. BUT, if it were a white professor saying that black males are a "problem population", EVEN if it were from a "let's start a discussion" type of standpoint instead of a hateful one, he would have been terminated on the spot. There are problems in the white community, and everyone is allowed to weigh in on those. But there are definitely also problems in the black community...only difference is weighing in means risking your living. If I were to attempt to start a discussion on the problems with black males, I would be on the street in an instant, so instead everyone stays silent, and we ignore what's happening there. We need the same standards applied across the board. Get with it Boston U.

All I can say is that if my child was enrolled in BC for the upcoming semester, I would have him/her reject their acceptance and find a school that does not hire bigots and hate-mongers

I'd like to see what would happen if a white professor said "why is black america so reluctant to identify poor black males as a problem population?"

If she was white she would be fired. Tolerance or lack thereof must be color blind.
