This kind of behavior by a person in a position of teaching young men and women is totally unacceptable. She should be removed from a place of influence and shown the door - let her hatred and racist attitudes not be inflicted on the rest of humanity.

Until now I have always displayed my Masters degree from BU on my office wall. This week I removed it so that no one will miss-understand my non-support of racism...be it from the white or black side of my family.

When you collectively call out an entire race by saying "white college male" is a problem, that's racism. When you Tweet: "Deal with your white (expletive), white people. slavery is a (asterisk)YALL(asterisk) thing," and "Every MLK week I commit myself to not spending a dime in white-owned businesses. And every year I find it nearly impossible.".....that's also indicating racism as she clearly has issues with whites. She should not be a professor on black studies if she can only teach a biased racist view of the subject. This is not a racist response as it is likely to be viewed....simply repeating her own words on her tweets that reveals the condition of her heart. Quite honestly, you can't change that with a simple apology either.

She should be fired for her racists rant...and the president isn't much better for not doing anything to her. If she were a while make ranting, termination would have occurred.

I am so tired of the white race being attacked over and over and over for simply existing. For a race that deplores being discriminated against because of skin color - black Americans seem to have become the champions of prejudice. This woman has no place in an institution of higher learning.

Unbelievable comments from a University professor. If the roles were reversed, she would be fired in a heartbeat. These comments are racist, plain and simple.

If the races were reversed in this issue BU would be a blaze and the vending machines looted. I am guessing this is viewed as a racist comment instead of being viewed as freedom of speech or potentially accurate based on the last couple years actual events

Students should be taught to think objectively and form their own opinions. Teachers who blatantly practice and teach racism should be fired.
