These unfair laws hurt the very tenants the claim to be protecting and condemn them to stay in the same apartment for the rest of their lives.

The recent regulation changes do not affect me or my property directly, but I must say this is indeed a gross over-reach by Government. Limiting a business in it's ability to manage it's revenue is destructive and is directly opposed to the intention of the US Constitution.

The direction that the Albany is moving the state is very concerning. For the first time, I’m considering investing outside of New York and even possibly relocating myself and my family. It’s very concerning and I hope we can bring common sense legislation back to the State.

This rent law is going wiped out all the small owners who does not have the financial resources to do repairs and forget about any capital improvement work. At the same time, the repair cost, water bills and the killer property taxes is go to wiped out the small building owners. This violates our rights.

it criminal what they have done. does it make sense that a rent of $600 for a 3 bed apartment will remain the same regardless of how much money the next tenant earns!

This law makes no sense— it is encouraging landlords to let their properties fall into disarray and dissolution by not allowing deductions for repairs. Shame on the NYS Democratic Senate for selling out both the landlords and the tenants. What were they thinking? Please know I have been a long time Democrat and I shocked
