Good day fellow Pisaynons!
Before 2015, the Student Alliance (SA) had no formal office, unlike other student councils from other schools. Officers would meet at the classrooms, the mushroom table, or at the Faculty Center. This arrangement was not conducive for the officers to effectively serve as the VOICE OF THE STUDENT BODY, your voice! With foresight and through hard work, SA batch 2015-2016 constructed the first ever SA Room.
- INSIDE THE SA ROOM, the officers were able to raise the highest amount of money in SA history.
- INSIDE THE SA ROOM Plans to conduct outreach activities which benefited senior citizens, elementary students from public schools, and the hardworking Pisay labanderas, were implemented.
- INSIDE THE SA ROOM, MORE MEANINGFUL PROJECTS can be well planned out. Projects that will benefit the school, the community, and even the Philippine Society! :)
This year, there are plans to close the SA room.
If you agree that the Student body deserves a place where its concerns are properly discussed, please sign the petition. However, measures must be taken such as:
- The key to the room must be with the SA Adviser;
- There must be a logbook of who goes in and out of the room; and
- During lunch time, students and faculty may eat lunch at the room.
The PSHS Vision says that we, as scholars, should be DEDICATED TO NATION BUILDING, and student leadership is a vital part of that.
Let us not give up on the SA, the VOICE of the STUDENT BODY. Please sign this petition if you agree :)

Even though i already have left PSHS, The student body truly deserves to have their own room. It would be bad for its reputation as well as its influence if it had to borrow rooms to conduct meetings, as that would be highly unprofessional.
I agree that SA as a student body should have a room/office of their own, but I have also seen the room being used by some members as a tambayan either with their fellow officers or with their barkadas and there are moments when an officer tells other people "Hindi ka pwede dito." or "Para lang sa officers ang room." Is it really inclusive of everyone in the community?
To be honest, i believe that the officers deserve this room. I believe that it is their right to have a place wherein they can plan, develop, and create. Without this room how would the officers create and make activities efficiently? How would they successfully complete their tasks? Yes, they might be able to work in classrooms and other rooms that are available, but I think they deserve to have a place wherein they could call their own. Therefore, I think that the SA room should be kept.
The function of the room for students is mainly for Lunch. As for the SA valuables inside, there is a storage room naman which can be locked to ensure that the items are safe. Basically, students can ear lunch their ONLY sa lunch time and SA Officers can use ONLY sa meeting time, and every time the adviser deems necessary. Otherwise, if unnecessary, then closed gid. :) That is the plan as of now, but other suggestions are very welcome.
Measure number 3 is there in order to cater to the increasing population of Pisay. Next year, there will be 6 batches, and the space can be used to alleviate overcrowding in the Coop, as well as to show that the SA room is not exclusive, but inclusive to all of the SA's constituents :)

The student body needs to have their own room because they are responsible for the activities that can be memorable to a pisay scholar. In order to brainstorm for such activities, they need a room where they could talk freely and express their own thoughts.
