The purpose of this petition is to “Request a Special Meeting with all HOA Board Members” to discuss the following:

• $60,000 Special Assessment. No documentation was provided to homeowners to support the roof expenses increasing from $24K to $60K. It is the Board's duty to request a meeting with all HoA members to discuss this special assessment. As homeowners, we have the right to vote on this.

We also request the Board present the following documents prior to the meeting:

• Copy of the last 2 years financial statements (e.g., P&L, balance sheet, income statement, etc.)
• GEM's insurance
• Jilbert Plumbing's insurance

At the meeting, the Board can offer an explanation and clarification of expenditures and other practices.

The undersigned members hereby petition the Board of Directors to set the earliest reasonable date, time and place for a special membership meeting for the purpose of receiving information and documentation supporting the $60,000 special assessment and to conduct a membership vote on such assessment, and that notice and ballots be sent to the membership as provided for in Corporations Code §7511 and Civil Code §5115.
