As we all know, they have taken some of the parking spots from the residents of Queensbridge and replaced them with Citi Bike Stations. We as a community, would like for them to be removed from the streets and placed on the sidewalk, or removed altogether.
I have spent this week contacting the Department of Transportation to demand a public explanation for why our residential parking was sacrificed. Take a moment to email your local council representative about the loss of these spots. We need more people putting direct pressure on their office to get these stations moved.

The momentum behind this push proves that our neighborhood is tired of losing parking to these stations. Call your local representative today and demand they prioritize resident parking over these bike docks.

It is amazing how the placement of these Citibikes are a plague in neighborhood. They take away existing resources and aid gentrification. Reasonable relocation is necessary.

It's an inconvenience. Why does it have to be in the street and not on the sidewalk. Parking is already scarce. Besides I don't believe anyone in the neighborhood is utilizing them. Relocate them on the sidewalk or under the bridge.

This is so unfair. As though we need more Citibikes stands in this neighborhood. PARKING is scarce enough. To eliminate three parking spots to accommodate these bikes in an injustice to the residents of Queensbridge Houses! Who is being served here? Who voted for this??? Surely not the QB residents. They need to be relocated to a sidewalk, somewhere else.

Parking is bad already, theses Citibikes make it worse. There’s a whole park they could’ve put them in!
