We, the undersigned members of the La Sagesse University community, including students, parents, faculty, and staff hereby express our deep concern regarding the proposed increase in tuition fees for the upcoming academic year. We firmly believe that such a decision would have detrimental effects on the accessibility and affordability of education at our esteemed institution.
La Sagesse University has always been renowned for its commitment to providing quality education and fostering an inclusive environment. However, with the proposed tuition fee increase, there is a real risk of compromising the university's core values and the ability of deserving students to pursue their academic aspirations. We believe that education should be a right, not a privilege limited only to those who can afford it.
We acknowledge the financial challenges faced by educational institutions, including rising costs of operation and budgetary constraints. Nevertheless, we respectfully request the administration explore alternative strategies to address these challenges, such as pursuing additional funding sources, enhancing efficiency, and seeking partnerships with public and private entities. We believe that a comprehensive approach that does not disproportionately burden students and their families is not only possible but also necessary.
The proposed tuition fee increase would not only impact current students but also deter prospective students from considering La Sagesse University as their educational home. We risk losing bright and talented individuals who may be dissuaded by the financial burden imposed on them and their families. Moreover, we fear that this decision would hurt the socioeconomic diversity and intellectual vibrancy of our campus community.
Therefore, we, the undersigned, respectfully request that the administration reconsider the proposed tuition fee increase and engage in meaningful dialogue with the university community to explore alternative solutions that ensure the accessibility and affordability of education at La Sagesse University. We believe that by working together, we can find sustainable solutions that maintain the excellence and integrity of our institution while remaining committed to supporting the aspirations of our students.

my name is john ID: 202100998 I'm not sure why this is happening; I had to leave La Sagesse University in order to immigrate and save some money so that I could return to college; I'm now working in Qatar, and I just learned about the new tuition fees. Please reconsider; I do not want others to become like me, working outside my country with no diploma simply to save up for university (if I return), which will take me months, if not years, to save up for the full three years of education with my living costs here, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to return because I left Lebanon for my future… (please do not show my name, keep it private)
courses prices are not fair, especially all the amount has to be paid in USD. 140$ for one credit EMBA is too much
What the hell are these non sense prices? Seriously? In a country where u need more than half of ur salary which could normally nowadays goes around 400$ u make the credit +100$? Bravo
Nowadays our monthly salary is around 300$ and maybe lower so do you think a course of 300$ will be affordable?

Too expensive
Insufficient support from the university, such as limited access to academic advisors, tutoring services, or mental health resources, can exacerbate the challenges associated with a higher credit load. Students may feel isolated and unsupported, leading them to withdraw from their studies. Plus if they worked and earn low basic salary or not.
