I have been spending my evenings talking to students across different campuses who are tired of seeing this objectification in our common rooms. The feedback confirms that we are not alone in wanting a space that respects women. We are preparing to present these signatures to the student union council to ensure they understand why this change is necessary.

Seeing this level of support makes me feel hopeful that we can actually force our campus to stop profiting from the objectification of women. It is deeply validating to know that so many of you see the harm in these images as clearly as I do.

it is 2014 why are we still treating women like pin up calendars? so embarrassing for the uni to even stock this.
Ridiculous that my tuition money goes towards selling crap that objectifies women like this. get it off the stands.
