The students of IHS (especially grade 10 and 12) have been put through a lot of pressure with;
- extensive online classes that began from march and are still continuing which have been resulting in no breaks and no time for the students to study, complete their notes, or their holiday assignments.
- the regular classes held have been from 7am to 3pm, for 4 days a week. this has put a lot of strain on student's mental and physical health.
recently, the PT1 exams have been pushed earlier to the last week of august by the school authorities
taking into consideration that online classes will be continuing till the 6th of august, this gives students barely 2 weeks to prepare for the exams along with no time for completing holiday assignments or getting a break.
we have created this petition to convince IHS to postpone the exams back to the first week of September, which would allow ample time for us to prepare do all our necessary assignments.

Please postpone the exam as kids have been continuously sitting for online classes since March 10th and they did not even have a proper vacation. It's hard for both teachers, kids and parents as well. Please take our requests into consideration at least for the sake of kids's mental strain.
Huge Respect towards all the IHS teachers and staff who put immense effort into making DL effective and successful. However, conducting the PT-1 examinations in the last week of August is an awful decision. Kindly Reconsider.
Kindly don't put excessive pressure on children. Kindly also provide a 1 day break between each exam so that the kids can write their exams with their highest efficiency. Please conduct the exams as per circular dated 21 May 2020.
It isn't fair like actually. Just because the students are in 10th doesn't mean the school takes their vacation to firstly complete other portion and then revise. Thus is too much pressure on them and now keeping exams in August is too much. It should be in September
Pls we really dint get enough time to study plus our vacations were also ruined cuz of the covid pls postpone the exams so our grades don’t fall and it’s our final year so every exam counts thank you cheers :)

my name aqil, and i feel this is not the right decision taken by ihs, my head too much paining nowadays, i want vacation to relax, so does my friends, i have already discuss with them, and too less time to prepare for exam, we need more time so that we can cover full potion
