I honestly did not think this would gain so much traction when I started typing it out on my phone that one afternoon. It is wild to see people actually caring about the plastic on our beaches because I usually feel like I am the only one getting annoyed by it when I go for a walk.

Convenience is not a sufficient reason to justify the use of single use plastic and the continuing degradation of our environment.
100% behind this initative. We need to set the example as to what can be achieved to protect our environment
Great idea, i fully support this. I will raise it with the commitee and see how we can initiate it asap.
Thank you for this great initiative. Another idea would be that PDO school sensitize a little more the kids to environmental problem and especially "not throwing trash everywhere" (as I often observed kids not using trash can) Moreover sensitizing the kids is a good way to pass the learning to parents.
Not just the PDO club - the whole world needs to go single use plastic free. But we have to start somewhere!

Fully support this initiative. In order to enhance this ruling PDO need to impose some sort of punishment to offenders. Like banning them not to use Ras Al Hamra club for few months.
