Plastic waste is a serious problem in our community and around the world. Every day, single-use plastic bags, bottles, and packaging are thrown away. Much of this plastic ends up in landfills, streets, and oceans, where it harms animals, pollutes the environment, and affects human health.
Plastic does not break down easily. It can stay in the environment for hundreds of years. Animals often mistake plastic for food, which can injure or kill them. Plastic pollution also affects our water, air, and soil.
We are asking our community leaders, businesses, and residents to take action to reduce plastic waste. This includes using fewer single-use plastics, encouraging reusable bags and bottles, and supporting eco-friendly alternatives.
Small changes can make a big difference. By working together, we can protect our environment and create a cleaner, healthier future for everyone.
Please sign this petition to show your support for reducing plastic waste in our community.
