Save NHTI! The IT program and professors are the best I've worked with in my frield, BAR NONE. They could make two or three times their salary in the private sector but they love what they do and do it well, even though they're badly understaffed and under budgeted while the uppers receive massive pay raises.

In order to build a sustainable college system, this initiative is important to pass. It will give us the opportunity to build a stronger coalition of Administrators, legislators, board members, faculty and staff to strengthen our footprint on the lives of NH citizens.

These administrators are destroying the educational experience for NH students, many of whom will NOT continue their education due to bad experiences at the CC level due to horrible/selfish decisions by those currently in power.

Curricula delivered by adjunct faculty at poverty-level wages, with no stability and no participation in the life of their departments, is basically a fraud perpetrated on the students and public - and on the adjuncts! It fits the definition of a racket. I speak as someone who taught as adjunct on and off for ten years.

This situation is effect me personally.
I returned to school after more than twenty years hoping increase my chances of getting a better job. My plan was to have several instructors who would help get a better job. But with teachers changing quickly and some are not prepared to teach well. It is VERY VERY MADDING

In this day, when students are coming out of HS's less prepared for college, CC should be the cornerstone of their future education to springboard them to successful careers. Many dedicated faculty, both full and adjunct, work hard for their students and ask very little in return. It is about time for someone to be accountable for the increased load and expectations put on those who are willing to work to do the best for their students.

I am all about fairness. I also believe that you get what you pay for. Lets have some oversight and perhaps legislate fairness into the equation.

I've been teaching adjunct for 10 years. Each year I have to "reapply" for my position. Right now I don't know if I have a job teaching next year.

As a recent graduate of class 2015 I have seen first hand the result of cutting educators. With professors having to cram different schedules in.place and not be available to offer classes that they use it it is now impacting future students.

As an engineering student who attended NHTI, I believe that there were many professors that did an incredible job in my major (EET) however, some of the professors, mostly in the electives were clearly uninterested. I don't want other students to not receive the same level as education as I have, because I believe that businesses are growing because of well groomed students in the community college systems, and would hate to see that disappear.
