The education system in this country is broken and the NH community college schools are a shining example. This is an investment for the future; let's act in the best interests of the students not the chancellor's wallet.

NHTI is a valuable resource for the community and greater area of southern NH. It often times is the best path both financially and technically speaking for students to take on engineering courses, and through the years has developed a fine 2+2 program with UNH-M. It would be a shame to see this resource fall into disrepair or ruin. We need to invest in faculty and facilities if it is going to keep up with the fast paced technology, and continue to be competitive.

Personally, I beleive that the educational and political systems in America are broken. Presently, I have lost faith in them. Although, I suppose the concepts of both, are supposed to benefit humans and augment their lives positively. They do not exist to be absorbed by corporate greed, money, and to only benefit once Again, the few at the top. I am signing this for a friend, because she felt that it was important, and decided to take action.

I am appalled by the treatment of staff and students at community colleges. I encourage our legislators to form a committee to look into this.

Education is very important for the individual attending school as well as for the society in general. Oversite makes certain that the process is assisting all people concerned. Pass this legislation.

The administrative bloat begins at the top with the Chancellor and his outrageous salary. Next the expansion of administrators at every campus. Finally, the utter reliance on adjuncts on every campus who are grossly underpaid and teach the majority of classes. Adjuncts teach the same exact courses as full-time faculty, yet they receive poverty wages to teach the same courses. Adjuncts and students are treated in the same manner: disrespected and disposable. It is an awful situation. The corporate take-over of our community colleges.
