We the concerned citizens of Waimate are opposing the New Waimate Dog Registration fees.
We all have the right to oppose these incredibly inflated fees in all fairness to the citizens of Waimate!

Higher rates will cause more unregistered dogs.. Also with high vet rates (everywhere) there will be a lot of puppy farms to unregistered dogs resulting in cruel dumping situations.
its a huge price hike in dog rego ,more so when they put it up not even a few years ago ,its a struggle as it is ,council would find it easier to work with dog ownership than against dog ownership
What justifiable reason is there for such a huge increase. What is the difference between this year and the last years expenses. To say dog owners must cover the costs......of what?
Haven't received the bill yet but I question what the prices are for working dogs, There is no way I am paying that much for 6 dogs! Has the council let public know this was happening or was the first we heard in the bill?
The prices are crazy it went from half price for second dog to twice the price for 1st an quadruple the price for a secondary ouch
Not fair to responsible owners

I see in tonights papr that the Mackenzie District dog rego is 65.00 and if fixed, 40.00 so why in a smaller area, are ours so expensive. I guess someone has to pay for the renovations to the dog control offices.
