Petition to open Electra Footpath on the River Lea & provide another stretch of walking access along this historic river

It's great to open this path for pedestrians. If cyclists are going to be permitted, please ensure there is adequate signage and enforcement to ensure a safe environment for pedestrians.

Boiw Creek as the natural termination of the the River Lea and the Lee navigation needs this access to complete a walkway cycleway to the Thames

I couldn't believe the map was right and there was a fence there so ended up doubling back for a long way

I walk along the river often and would love to be able to carry on that path

Please open it up

How the company or anybody could try to stop people using the footpath is ridiculous.

I am trying to walk the Lea Valley West to East. The walk has been ruined and also Cody Dock now desolate

I fully support opening the path for both residents and visitors to the borough. With increasing local population, it's more vital than ever to have spaces open with natural habitat, not to mention the sense of community and pride such spaces foster.

As LCI resident, this footpath would be really a great plus to the community leaving around bow creek. Thanks.

Now more than ever it is vital we have safe and peaceful walking routes in our city: please allow access to open up the River Lea for walking

Would encourage more walking/cycling and outdoor activities.
