It would be wonderful to be able to walk or cycle this last bit of the Lea. Much safer than the Star Lane route too.

As a resident of Canning Town, it's extremely disappointing that we have to go through an industrial estate (which frankly is a little scary to walk through) to enjoy a pleasant walk along the river because a small stretch of pathway is closed.

With the current COVID-19 crisis, I have been looking to find more enjoyable walking routes for exercise around these parts and it would be good to open this.

It’s a great shame that this vital connection is not opened. It would connect thousands of people from Canning Town and the Royal docks to freely enjoy the River Lea. Hopefully we can make this happen. Many thanks

The facility to walk or cycle from Herts/Essex borders to the Thames presents an amazing opportunity. The path needs to be open all the way asap.

Just walked from Trinity Buoy to Stratford. What a shame that the river path is closed some of the way. Open it up to walkers please
