I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have come forward to honor Sam. If we can reach that hundred mark before the administration meeting it would show them just how much he meant to all of us.

He made such an impact on my mechanical engineer daughter, that she took more psychology classes and says that he is the best professor she ever had. Amazing the impact one special person can have on a student. I will be forever grateful.
Professor Sommers was my first psych professor in freshman year and the person to read off my name in our graduation. His energy and presence will forever be missed.❤️
Although he has passed, he continues to touch the hearts of so many. May his kindness live on in the psychology building.
I had professor summers for Psych 1- he was truly one of my favorite professors I’ve ever had and can’t believe he’s been taken from this world so early. He’s had a massive legacy on tufts undergrads and future generations deserve to know how much of an impact he had.
My first Psych professor at Tufts. Thanks to his incredible lectures, I decided to major in psych. Rest in peace.
I'm not a Tufts student but even I knew Prof Sommers was a legend and am sad to know that I will never meet him

‘25 parent. This would be a great way to honor Prof. Sommers. He clearly had a sincere connection to his students.
