He's a Greek God. Not for Marvel to change, you didn't create him to begin with. Change him back.

Are you happy Stan? You were able to save you company. But just like Ghost Rider, you made a deal with Satan. That Satan is Disney, and they are raping your baby. They are pissing all over what you created, every great moment, every tear jerking loss and for what? So you can keep a fresh supply of adult diapers? Burn in hell Stan!

I have been a buying fan of the Mighty Thor since I bought my first comic book, The Mighty Thor #155 at the tender age of 6 years old in 1968. I am truely sad to say that I am no longer. When Marvel/Disney decided it was a good idea to emasculate one of their Greatest characters in order to try to gain female fans, I decided it was time for me to end my 47 year patronige and purchasing of Marvel products. Yes, I do feel that strongly about this. The decision to figuratively castrate Thor is a greedy and political one. Why Marvel/Disney felt the need to feminize Thor is incomprehesable to me. You can very effectively promote strong non male characters without undermining and demeaning strong male characters. If Marvel was truely interested in growing the number of female fans it has then why does it not develope one of it's many great female characters? The formula is reduculously simple, take a great female character, oh I don't know how about SIF!?!? A charactor that is perfect for this role, put a top notch writer on the book paired with a great artist and give them more then just a 5 or 6 issue stint to develope the story. The short run Sif had in the Journey into Mystery book was a perfect example of how NOT to develope a great female character. Artwork a third grader could do better then and a patheticly bad storyline only showed that Marvel and Disney are completely out of touch with a large segment of their own fanbase and that they have no idea how to go about attracting and keeping new fans, especially female ones. The Black Widow is another perfect example of a really strong, great character that is horribly undermined by poor artwork and bad writing. Although The Black Widow has recently had some excellent storylines. Other potentially great lead role female characters, in my opinion, would be Scarlet Witch, SheHulk, Captain Marvel, Valkyrie, Gamora, the young female Hawkeye (please give this woman a new name), Mantra (the Malibu comics character, propert

Norse paganism was pushed to the sidelines by Christianity a thousand years ago, but today many people are rejecting Christianity and looking to paganism, because it seems to speak to them about the contradictions between capitalism, nature and humanity. As we increasingly see our political and economic elite ignoring the needs of ordinary people it's understandable that people will turn to either Marxism and dialectical-materialism or the old gods of the Ásatrú and as Thor is the god of the common people he is the god that they will worship.

Iceland is to build its first temple to the Norse gods since the Viking age, and the Ásatrúarfélagið is growing in popularity, Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson high priest of Ásatrúarfélagið says ''We see the stories as poetic metaphors and a manifestation of the forces of nature and human psychology'' Marvel should respect the beliefs of the Ásatrú religion.

Thor is the man if they really want to do more with girl heroes, then they should put that focus into Black Widow and She-hulk.

Now we see what really happens when Disney buys something... They screw it up... Pretty safe to say I won't be getting anything more from Marvel from now on at this rate... Too many changes from what should be... Now, even into the religion aspects... Thor is a male... Disney / Marvel really need to quit trying to gender switch characters and alienating loyal followers chasing the "all mighty dollar". History has proven that to be an almighty failure... I doubt that anyone who does collect such rubbish will hold on to them, unlike early editions of Iron Man and similar... I will suspect a major retcon will come soon enough when Marvel pretty much goes belly up from this BS, and has to be shored up by Disney for another Disney screw up...
